Everything Yummy

my friend, M, has been raving about this super delicious ribs she has discovered.  then a few days ago, she mentioned that her friend who cooks the ribs has finally opened her little place in talamban.  just yesterday, she was craving for ribs and called me to see if we can go. however, since it’s a weekend and the husband and i had plans, i told her we can schedule a visit next week.

the husband and i checked in at crown regency cebu yesterday (he worked for 25 hours) and when dinnertime rolled in, i thought maybe we should check out this new place M was highly recommending.

so off we went to talamban and i must say it was worth the trip!

everything yummy is very quaint, very homey.  they have a very small space, only two tables and four chairs by the “bar.”  i like how low-key and unpretentious it is, yet you can feel the warmth of the place.

quarter slab ribs (super tender and flavorful) with rice, P185

the husband and i ordered the ribs and singaporean prawns and we give both dishes 2 thumbs up!  LOL.  for him to say that he likes the food there in everything yummy is a big thing because he’s such a choosy eater.  what we also love about this new diner is how accommodating and friendly the owners are, M and H.  they personally take the orders and chat with their customers.

H said they will start their delivery service this week and i’m already thinking about ordering their ribs and other dishes for say, working lunches.  i think it’s good (delivery) because they can only seat 12 persons in their place.

singaporean prawns, 350: winner!

we paid around P620 for 2 dishes + drinks and i think it’s reasonable considering how sosyal and non-commercialized the food are.  i’m planning our next visit and i would like to try the lemongrass inasal, corned beef, chorizo and adobo (which M also swears by).

everything yummy

Ako pud kay gusto mo try sa Singaporean prawns ug inasal. Lami pud ilang homemade corned beef.

    And di ba friendly sila?!

Yes, teh, it would be really nice sa if aside from having a full-time job, we also have something that’s entirely ours :) I was there this lunchtime and tried the chorizo and corned beef. Lupigan ang Pure Foods’ Corned Beef sa ilang home-made version :) True, true, M and H are very, very friendly and warm and accommodating.
